The Asia-Mediterranean segment of the current MS2 service will now operate as a standalone service, renamed Mediterranean 2 (MD2) service. The Transpacific segment of MS2 will be integrated with the AG1 service and launched as the new Gulf Pacific South 2 (GS2) service.

To safeguard Australia from the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB), the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has amended its fumigation regulations. These revised measures will be enforced annually from September 1st to April 30th (inclusive) and are applicable to all targeted goods exported and transhipped to Australia from designated risk countries.
